0-12...ouch! I can somewhat understand since CU was within one point of the same record in 2012. It was a former KU QB that saved CU from that in Pullman with a win over Washington State.

That Weis really wrecked KU football by running a bunch of players off then getting fired in a short time. I read somewhere that KU only had 65 scholarship players and boy that put the Jayhawks at a huge disadvantage because that is just two more than a full FCS team roster has.

I'm curious to see how long it will take to just get KU back to 85 scholarships.

I bet it takes Beaty three recruiting cycles to get numbers where they are supposed to be. I also think that's the year KU starts threatening for bowl appearances again.

Not a fun situation to be in for the Jayhawks. That CU team that went 1-11 in 2012 didn't have many seniors & juniors on the squad so it'll take time for KU to win games. The advantage that KU has is that they can offer recruits early playing time.

Oh, it does suck. SL29 I think is right. At least 3 seasons before possible bowl appearance. I also think that we were at 60 total scholarship players this year.

Yeah, Weiss has set the KU program back 5 years easily.

I don't think KU will have any shortage of Power 5 (P5) teams that want to give their younger players playing time.
